About

I grew up in various places in the South of England. The stunning English countryside inspired in me a love for the natural world.

This love became especially strong when I moved to Devon, and Dartmoor became my back garden. The landscape of the moor was my playground for many years, and it is where I discovered another pleasure: photography. My original Nikon F-501 is still working, and I am currently training my son in its use. Hopefully he will learn to use it the way I never did.

It wasn’t until I ventured into the realm of the dSLR in 2006 that I felt I could genuinely do something useful with my photographs.
